Beijing (Gasgoo)- Bosch officially inaugurated the Bosch Cross-Domain Computing Solutions (Shanghai) R&D Center on November 22.

Located in Pudong New Area, Shanghai, the new R&D center involves a total investment of 150 million yuan. The center takes up over 10,000 square meters of area, and will be housing more than 540 R&D talents in the fields of smart cockpit and high-level intelligent driving, especially in software related segments, Bosch said.
According to the company, the new R&D center is Bosch's third and largest R&D center in China after the ones in Suzhou Industrial Park and Shanghai Hongqiao Linkong Business Park. Li Yin, president of Bosch Cross-Domain Computing Solutions Business Unit in China, commented that Jinqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone in Pudong New Area holds a complete automobile industrial chain, and is making every effort to build a modern auto industry in the direction of new energy vehicles and intelligent driving. Bosch plans to actively cooperate with the Zone and its upstream/downstream enterprises across the automotive industry to jointly enable the innovative development of intelligent vehicles in the Chinese market.
Currently, Bosch’s Cross-Domain Computing Solutions Business Unit has over 1,400 staff members in China, 80% among which are R&D members.
