US weekly publication 'Newsweek' has released its annual list of the world's 10 most innovative companies. Among them there are three Chinese enterprises, HTC, BYD and Haier.
US firms account for more than half of the top 10 enterprises, and occupy the top three spots.
Software giant Microsoft tops the chart of the most innovative enterprises, followed by Apple and search engine Google. Disney, Amazon and Ford take the spots from 5th to 7th.
Chinese green car maker BYD ranks eighth. BYD launched a plug-in hybrid car early this year. The auto maker also partnered with Daimler Germany and established a joint venture to produce green cars. BYD is also planning to tap into the European and US markets next year.
