Gasgoo.com (Shanghai June 8) - Dongfeng Nissan has confirmed rumors that it will begin domestic production of the Murano crossover SUV, the Beijing Youth Daily reported today.
The Murano would be priced in between 300,000 and 500,000 yuan ($46,351-$77,252). The SUV will reportedly be outfitted with Infiniti accessories.
The Murano was created from a $2.84 billion investment during Carlos Ghosn's so-called Nissan Revival Plan. In its first year in the US market, the SUV managed sales of nearly 100,000 units. Global sales have already broken one million.
