Europe new car registrations decline In January

RTTNews - European new car registrations declined 1.4% in January from the same period of last year, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association said on Wednesday. This follows a 12.6% rise in December. New registrations reached a total of 1.04 million units.

In January, markets showed different movements across the region, with the French and German markets posting strong growth, while the UK, Italy and Spain recorded a double-digit downturn.

The largest contraction was observed in Greece, down 63.3%, while Latvia expanded the most by 126.4%, rebounding from very low levels.
