Dongfeng Fengshen has been complained for very limited productions and slow research for a while. But the company will take effort next year.
Dongfeng Fengshen has welcomed its 200 thousandth car off the production line. Chunrong Li, party secretary of Dongfeng Fengshen, has summarized the achievement Dongfeng Fengshen reached up to now, and announced plan for the next three years.
According to the introduction of Chunrong Li, Dongfeng Fengshen will introduce three new cars into market next year, the first one is electronic car with limited offering, another is sedan with size between S30 and A60, the other is home searched SUV geared with BMW engine.
Dongfeng Fengshen will launch an upper car coded “Dongfeng No.1” in 2016, which is straightly against its opponent Red Flag H7.
According to the introduction of Weidong Li, general manager of Dongfeng passenger car, DPCA joint venture brand will be integrated into Dongfeng Fengshen in the future, and it will adopt exist channel and system. The car will launch market in 2015.
People can tell that Dongfeng Fengshen will have its harvest period from the later next year based on Dongfeng its own research and the integration with DPCA.
It has been four years since the first product of Fengshen launched market. It has launched H30, H30 Cross and A60 etc. after, but successor has not introduced yet with stiff competition in automobile industry. Yuchun Liu, vice general manager of Dongfeng Fengshen said during interview that sales of original products are decreasing indeed, and it has to get through tough period the first half next year according to plan of Dongfeng Fengshen production development. However, it will welcome its harvest time after new car launching market later half next year as excepted.
According to plan of Dongfeng Group, it will form “2 2” business structure, which refers to Dongfeng Passenger Car Company, Dongfeng Xiaokang Automobile Company, plus Dongfeng Liuzhou Automobile Company and Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile Company. Dongfeng Fengshen is the key part of “2 2” strategy. Dongfeng Fengshen will take 15% sales of its 300 thousand sales goal of the “Twelfth Five” passenger car sales plan.
With small growth background from January to August this year, Dongfeng Fengshen has sold 49,125 totally, which has increased 33.8%. Citing words from Chunrong Li, Dongfeng Fengshen is a crack force of Dongfeng passenger car business unit already.
