According to the company, the A800 adopts a range-extended electric powertrain and integrates advanced digital and driver-assistance technologies, including the Huawei Qiankun ADS V4.1 driver-assistance platform and the HarmonySpace 5 intelligent cockpit.

The exterior design blends futuristic elements with a premium sedan profile. A prominent front lighting signature features a long halo-style light strip paired with articulated lamp modules capable of dynamic lighting effects. Functional air inlets integrated into the front bumper are intended to improve airflow management and contribute to efficiency.

Viewed from the side, the HYPTEC A800 adopts a fastback silhouette with a long wheelbase and a sharply sloped C-pillar, giving the sedan a coupe-like stance. Buyers can choose between two 20-inch wheel designs, including a turbine-style 12-spoke option and a butterfly-inspired wheel featuring a floating center logo. At the rear, a full-width taillight cluster with layered internal elements creates a distinctive lighting signature when illuminated.

Inside, the cabin follows a wraparound cockpit layout centered on a digital interface. The dashboard integrates a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch floating central display, paired with a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. Rear passengers benefit from a theater-style seating arrangement and extended legroom, complemented by Nappa leather seats with diamond stitching intended to emphasize comfort and a lounge-like atmosphere.

Digital features are a central selling point of the model. All versions of the HYPTEC A800 come standard with the HarmonySpace 5 cockpit system, supporting cross-device connectivity and voice control. Higher-trim variants are equipped with Huawei's Qiankun ADS V4.1 assisted-driving platform. The top all-wheel-drive flagship model incorporates a configuration with four LiDAR sensors designed to provide comprehensive environmental perception around the vehicle.

Power comes from a range-extended electric drivetrain combining a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with electric motors. The gasoline engine produces up to 160 horsepower and works primarily as a generator to recharge the battery pack, which has a capacity of 35.03 kWh and uses lithium iron phosphate chemistry.

The rear-wheel-drive version employs a single electric motor delivering 272 horsepower and offers a WLTC-rated pure electric range of 178 kilometers. A more performance-oriented variant uses a tri-motor all-wheel-drive setup with a combined output of 598 horsepower, while providing a WLTC electric driving range of 163 kilometers.
