Chery, iFlytek Renew Five-Year Pact
On the evening of July 30, iFlytek officially announced it had signed a 2026 strategic cooperation agreement with Chery Group on July 28, locking in a new five-year partnership framework.
The partnership dates back to 2003, when the Chery QQ became one of the first Chinese models to feature iFlytek's voice interaction technology. The relationship was upgraded to a comprehensive strategic alliance in 2017, followed by the launch of a joint venture, Anhui Qisheng Technology, last year to focus on intelligent audio. Hesai Secures New Designation from GWM
Hesai announced that its ETX — an automotive-grade, ultra-long-range LiDAR platform featuring over 1,000 lines — has secured a new designation from Great Wall Motors. The product is slated to enter mass production and begin deliveries by the end of 2026.
This latest deal extends a long-standing strategic partnership between the two automakers. Great Wall's WEY, TANK, ORA, and HAVAL brands already integrate Hesai's LiDAR across scenarios ranging from urban commuting and family travel to off-road driving. Hesai said it will leverage its technology and production capacity to support Great Wall's intelligent driving upgrade.
