Cailian Press: On January 28, Zotye Auto announced it expects a net loss of 281 million yuan to 417 million yuan for 2025, narrowing from a 1 billion yuan loss a year earlier. The red ink is largely due to legacy issues that have essentially halted production at its vehicle assembly unit. Even so, the company continues to shoulder necessary fixed costs—such as administrative and financial expenses—to maintain its basic operations and push for a production resumption.

Sina Tech: Audi China delivered 617,500 vehicles in 2025, reclaiming the top spot among luxury brands despite a 5% annual decline. That pressure—falling sales and shrinking per-vehicle margins—is taking a toll on its dealer network. Recently, FAW-Audi owners reported that the Kaifeng Jin'ao dealership appears to have shut down abruptly, leaving maintenance packages unusable and staff claiming unpaid wages. Incomplete data suggests that since late 2025, more than a dozen Audi dealerships have closed across regions including Guangxi, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Tianjin, Guangdong, Shandong, and Anhui. Some collapsed due to poor performance, while others lost their franchise authorization and switched brands.
