Gasgoo Munich- Geely Holding Group said on Sept. 3 that it will fully implement the "Guidelines on Overseas Competition Behavior and Compliance Construction in the Automotive Industry," according to a report by Gasgoo. The company pledged to stay true to its commitment to compliant operations, aiming to boost the high-quality global expansion of Chinese automakers.

Geely Holding emphasized that it consistently adheres to a 16-character management principle: "fully authorized, compliant, clear assessment, fair and transparent." Compliance is now woven deeply into the entire process of its globalization strategy. The group will follow the guidelines of "lawful compliance, fair competition, and mutual benefit," using rigorous standards to draw a firm line under its operations. By focusing on localization, technical innovation, product quality, and overseas service, Geely aims to uphold fair competition in the global market and burnish the reputation of Chinese vehicles abroad.
Geely Holding also noted that the achievements of China's auto industry were hard-won and precious. The company said it is willing to work with its peers to advance together in the global market and earn the world's respect.
Recently, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly issued the guidelines. Comprising four chapters and 20 articles, the document provides general guidance on overseas marketing competition and compliance in areas such as safety, quality, labor, and data security. According to customs statistics, China's auto exports reached 8.32 million units in 2025, shipping to more than 200 countries and regions. Analysts believe that as Chinese automakers shift from exporting finished products to exporting entire industrial chains, compliance is becoming a critical pillar of global operations.
