GM China's PR Director to resign

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai May 25) - General Motor China's Director of Public Relations and Advertising Bai Hua has officially left the company yesterday, auto.163.com reported.

Bai Hua, a graduate of the Harvard Kennedy School, joined GM in November 2011. At the manufacturer she was tasked with heading GM's domestic advertising and marketing strategy. Despite her lack of experience in the automobile industry, she caught on relatively quick, with company president Kevin E. Wale personally praising her performance. In her one year's time at the company, GM China's annual domestic sales hit a new record of 2.35 million vehicles, growing 30 percent from the previous year.

Bai Hua has previously worked at as vice president of editing enterprise Panorama Media and consultant for the Monitor Company.
