Gasgoo.com (Shanghai September 9) - Great Wall announced earlier this week that its new Voleex C50 subcompact will come to the market next Friday, auto.sohu.com reported. Official pictures of the C50 were released today. The sedan looks to be priced in the 70000 yuan to 100000 yuan price range ($10,971-$15,673).

The C50 (pictured) is 4.65 m long, 1.78 m wide and 1.46 m tall with a wheelbase of 2.7 m, making it quite a large subcompact. Great Wall hopes to market the C50's large interior space as one its strong selling points.

Despite it's size, the C50 is able to maintain a sense of style, with its split front grille design and chrome highlights helping drive that point home. The C50 is powered by a domestically manufactured 1.5 L turbocharged engine, which it proudly proclaims with a bright red "T" stamped on the front grille. x

The interior comes in an international two-tone design, with the central control deck, steering wheel and gearshift sporting silver highlights. Basic accessories include cruise control, GPS navigation and intelligent interior climate control. The C50 can be further outfitted with reverse radar, electric-powered sunroof and other adornments.
