Shanghai, May 19 (Gasgoo.com) On April 21, Fiat SpA CEO Sergi Marchionne announced the Group's five-year-plan, under which five new vehicle models would be imported into China in five years while the "Fiat C-Medium" will be locally produced in 2012, media reported.

What are the five new models? -- not a secret anymore. According to Marchionne's presentations, Fiat initially plans to import another C-Class model in 2013, and a D-Class model in 2014, as well as two from Chrysler's C-Class and D-Class models, all to share a platform, and by which Fiat hopes its market share in China could grow to 2% by 2014.

Additionally, in order to support dealers, Fiat will consider launching Bravo, Fiat500 and other models during the transition period. Fiat has also invited top executives from Guangzhou Auto to take part in the approval of the first car model to be made by the Fiat venture in China, sources close to the Group revealed.
