Shanghai December 15 (Gasgoo.com) Guangzhou Toyota Motor, a joint venture between Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group Co Ltd (GAIG) and Japan's Toyota, will soon announce a change in its top-level management, according to a report from sina.com.
Jiang Jizhe, the JV's deputy general manager, will return to the Toyota city, Aichi-based Toyota headquarters as head of China marketing; Mori Satoru, general manager of the FAW Toyota Motor Sales Co, will be his successor.
The JV's deputy general manager Hu Su will be appointed as head of Guangzhou Auto's financing arm, GAC-Sofinco Automobile Financing Co Ltd; while Li Hui, the incumbent deputy director of sales depart for Guangzhou Toyota, will take over the position.
Early this month, Guangzhou Toyota has exceeded its full-year sales target of 267,000 vehicles set at the beginning of this year.
