Gasgoo.com (Shanghai May 31) - Honda Motor's Chinese division put out an announcement stating that their Chinese production will reach normal levels by August, morningpost.com.cn reported today. Both of Honda's joint ventures with GAC and Dongfeng have been suffering production setbacks due to autopart shortages in its Japanese factories.

Effects from the recent natural disasters in Japan have been wearing off, with Guangqi Honda hoping to complete its expansion goal of 240,000 units annual production capability by the end of the year. Dongfeng Honda, for its part, is planning to complete its second factory by the end of 2012. Both JVs are also planning releasing their independent own brands.
