Per the cooperation agreement, the companies will co-explore cutting-edge core intelligent vehicle technology and advanced integrated solution, accelerating the commercial application of all-scenario autonomous driving.
With the help from Horizon Robotics’ signature Journey 3 and Journey 5 chips, visual perception algorithm, and toolchain, Holomatic will be well-positioned to develop an all-speed integrated autonomous driving software/hardware solution, building a service-oriented SOA. The partners aim to construct a data-driven full-stack autonomous driving solution that can be constantly iterated.
As one of the named mass-producible autonomous driving solution providers in China, Holomatic possesses full-stack autonomous driving R&D capabilities. From AI algorithms to embedded systems, from big data closed loop to system iterations, the company is able to facilitate mass-producible all-scenario autonomous driving solutions under driving and parking conditions.
Moreover, China’s major automaker, GAC Group, is a long-term partner with Holomatic. The two companies are co-developing L2++ autonomous functions, automated parking, and memory parking, built on XJ3 and X3V projects. Currently, the partners have achieved periodical results and started in-depth R&D for L3 and up autonomous driving technologies.
According to the companies, multiple Holomatic system-powered GAC models will be on the market in 2022, leading the industry in mass-production and delivery schedules.
