On Jan. 9, Huawei executive director Richard Yu — chair of the Product Investment Committee and chairman of the Terminal BG — said on Weibo that the "flagship" LUXEED V9 from Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance will arrive this spring (2026).

Yu said the new MPV promises commanding presence, generous space, strong safety and long range — "MPVs will be different from now on!" Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance's official account also posted the latest teaser image for the LUXEED V9.
The teaser suggests the V9 carries the family design language: a closed-off front grille typical of new-energy vehicles, a full-width LED light bar linking the headlamps, and a lower intake that balances cooling needs with a sportier look. Notably, the company disclosed the V9 will use Huawei's "Snow Owl" intelligent range-extender system, delivering a CLTC combined range of up to 1,250+ km. The model will also debut next-gen DLP projection headlights paired with a dynamic welcome light carpet, with customizable welcome light signatures.
A day earlier (Jan. 8), the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released the 403rd batch of its Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products announcement, where Harmony Intelligent Mobility's first MPV — the LUXEED V9 — appeared in the new-product filings.
According to the filing, the vehicle is sizable, measuring 5,359 x 2,009 x 1,859/1,879 mm with a 3,250 mm wheelbase, and it adopts a seven-seat layout. At the rear, it features a full-width light bar, a roof spoiler and a lower chrome strip for added visual depth.
Power comes from a range-extended hybrid setup pairing a 1.5T engine with dual motors (front and rear). The engine is rated at 105 kW; motor outputs have not yet been disclosed. Battery options include LFP and NCM packs, both supplied by CATL.
