Beijing (Gasgoo)- IM Motors' vehicles equipped with L3 autonomous driving capabilities have received the highway/expressway autonomous driving test license in Shanghai, the company announced on December 18.

Under municipal supervision and guidance, IM Motors plans to conduct L3 autonomous driving road tests on highways and expressways in the designated areas of Shanghai, accelerating the development and deployment of advanced intelligent driving products, catering to users' demands for high-level intelligent vehicles.
Aside from L3 autonomous driving, IM Motors' IM AD Highway/Overpass NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) and Urban NOA have made significant strides. On December 12, the coverage of IM Motors' IM AD Highway/Overpass NOA function officially expanded to include 333 cities' expressways and59 cities’ overpass road sections on the Chinese Mainland, totaling an extensive 389,000 kilometers of applicable roads.
The IM AD Urban NOA is steadily advancing as well, conquering challenging urban scenarios such as unprotected left turns at busy intersections, complex urban roundabouts, and unprotected U-turns.
