Gasgoo Munich- According to the "Shanghai Jiading" WeChat account, Jiangxi InspireNano Materials Co., Ltd. signed a strategic partnership with Anting Town in Shanghai's Jiading District on Feb. 27, formally establishing an R&D center in the area. The 50 million yuan project, slated for construction in two phases, aims to secure a foothold in the high-end segment of the new energy supply chain.

Located in the Anting International Medical Industrial Park, the site was selected after Anting Town weighed factors such as recruitment, supporting facilities, and research clusters. The move aligns closely with key local industries, including the automotive "new four modernizations," biomedicine, and the low-altitude economy. The first phase will establish an R&D center and pilot production lines, focusing on carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and single-wall CNTs for biomedical use. The second phase will expand pilot lines for carbon tubes, lithium replenishment agents, and polymer materials, while broadening sales operations to perfect the R&D and industrialization of lithium battery composite materials.
Notably, this partnership marks a significant step in deepening collaboration between Anting and Fudan University. The project has received full technical support from Fudan's Department of Chemistry, with plans to jointly establish an engineering innovation center and an industry-academia cooperation platform. Leveraging Fudan's top-tier research capabilities in materials science and chemistry, the initiative aims to accelerate technological innovation and the local commercialization of research findings, while attracting top-tier talent.
Jiangxi InspireNano is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D and production of high-performance CNT conductive agents for lithium-ion batteries.
