Shanghai July 15 (Gasgoo.com) The world's top luxury brands Jaguar and Land Rover set up its first training center in Jinqiao, Shanghai's Pudong area, media reported recently.
The training center will provide both technical and non-technical training such as: sales skills, after-sales service and certification of qualification to the staff of Jaguar and Land Rover's dealers across the country.
In addition, Jaguar and Land Rover recently announced the establishment of a wholly-owned sales company in China and it will be in full operation soon.
On top of that, to improve their customer service quality, Jaguar and Land Rover set up a spare parts distribution center in Suzhou, Jiangsu province last year. At present, they are in the preparation for the construction of another spare parts distribution center in Beijing.
It is expected that in the first quarter of 2011, Jaguar and Land Rover will establish a fourth spare parts distribution center in south China.
In the first five months, the sales of Jaguar and Land Rover had a year-on-year growth of 88% and 150% respectively in China, their third largest market globally. The robust growth further consolidated Jaguar and Land Rover's position in the Chinese luxury car market.
