The DEEPAL L06 REEV offers a battery-powered range of 245 km and a combined range of 1,505 km. Fuel consumption is as low as 3.46 liters per 100 km in battery-depleted mode.
Lu Huan, JD.com's head of automotive marketing, stated that DEEPAL's new-energy technology and build quality align with the "People's Car" concept, targeting younger EV buyers. Safety is a priority for consumers, Lu added, covering aspects from door handles to chassis control. The suspension system is critical; it provides rapid response during cornering, body roll, or uneven terrain, improving the driving experience.
Lu announced the nationwide launch of test drives and blind bookings for the "People's Car 2.0" DEEPAL L06 REEV. The DEEPAL flagship store and JD.com's self-operated DEEPAL store are live on the JD.com app. Users can search for "People's Car" to schedule a test drive or reserve a vehicle.
On October 14, 2025, JD.com partnered with GAC Group and CATL to unveil the "People's Car" initiative. JD.com focuses on consumer insights and sales channels, not manufacturing. On October 23, the first model was named the "AION UT," with key features revealed.
