Gasgoo Munich-Jing-Jin Electric Technologies Co., Ltd. has announced a reshuffle of its core management team, appointing Liu Junshan as general manager. Founder, Chairman, and Chief Engineer Yu Ping is stepping down from the general manager role but remains the company’s controlling shareholder. Moving forward, Yu will focus on corporate strategy, core R&D, and product innovation, while Liu assumes full responsibility for executing strategy and managing daily operations.

Liu holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in automotive engineering from Tsinghua University, along with an EMBA from the Tongji-UT Arlington Business School. His career includes previous roles at Delphi and Geely Holding, giving him extensive experience in automotive propulsion and intelligent systems. This professional background is expected to inject new momentum into Jing-Jin Electric’s operations.
As a supplier of new energy vehicle powertrain systems, Jing-Jin Electric has achieved full independent control over core technologies, spanning drive motors, transmissions, controller hardware and software, and complete powertrains. Its product lineup covers mainstream technologies such as battery-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, serving major automakers domestically and internationally. The company is also expanding beyond its traditional scope, actively developing and exploring technical breakthroughs and market applications for electric drive products in non-automotive sectors.
Jing-Jin Electric said that the appointment is a strategic move designed to accelerate the company’s rapid growth, strengthen its core leadership, and boost both decision-making efficiency and execution capabilities.
