Recently, message saying that GDI engine and DCT automatic gearbox plant which was built in August 2011 of JMC is almost finished after 2 years. As it known, the plant is located in the plant of JMC Engine Company. It will produce 1.5T GDI turbocharging gasoline direct injection engine and DCT dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
According to relevant officer disclosing, 150 thousand devices of new plant are already at present. The plant operation enters test phrase now.
According to former configuration plan, new 1.5T GDI engine and DCT gearbox should be built in Heyue car. However, in-charge-officer discloses that new power combination will be built in Ruifeng S5. The model which is built with 1.5T GDI engine will launch market at the end this year. And model with DCT gearbox is anticipated to achieve mass production at the end this year and officially launch market next year. As it known, the power system will be built in upper medium models of JMC step by step.
