The vehicle has completed both simulation and closed-track testing, strictly adhering to standards for "Intelligent Connected Vehicles — Autonomous Driving Functions — Field Test Methods and Requirements" and "Intelligent Connected Vehicles — Autonomous Driving Functions — Simulation Test Methods and Requirements."
The trials spanned seven major scenarios, including traffic signal recognition and response; detection of road infrastructure and obstacles; identification of pedestrians and non-motorized vehicles; monitoring of surrounding vehicle status; automatic emergency avoidance; minimum risk strategy; and dynamic driving task intervention and takeover.
On the technical front, the LUXEED RX is built on a Level 3 autonomous driving architecture. It employs a stereo fusion perception system and features eight redundancies—covering positioning, communication, power, computing, braking, steering, perception, and interaction—to create a full-chain redundant framework capable of supporting Level 3 self-driving.
