Maticon Automotive Systems (Taicang) Co., Ltd. was formerly Fischer Automotive Systems (Taicang) Co., Ltd. before being acquired by Mutares, a German listed investment group, in 2024. The company has long specialized in the design, production, and service of high-end automotive functional parts. It serves several international premium brands and has integrated into the supply chains of mainstream domestic automakers.
The newly launched project focuses on the R&D and manufacturing of smart cockpit functional parts. As vehicle intelligence accelerates, the smart cockpit has become a critical battleground for industry competition. The project's launch marks a substantial expansion of Maticon's production and R&D footprint in China. Once fully ramped up, the facility is expected to reach an annual output of 2 million sets.
This capacity expansion directly bolsters Maticon's competitiveness in the automotive segment. Meanwhile, the project fills a crucial gap in Taicang's NEV components innovation cluster, further reinforcing the integrity and technological depth of the regional supply chain.
