Mech-Mind Robotics Secures CSRC Filing for Hong Kong Listing

Edited by Yara From Gasgoo

Gasgoo Munich- Mech-Mind Robotics has cleared a key regulatory hurdle for its Hong Kong listing. On August 7, China's securities regulator approved the overseas IPO and the "full circulation" of domestic shares for Mech-Mind (Xiong'an) Robotics Technology Co., Ltd., according to Gasgoo Embodied Intelligence. The move signals that the IPO process for this leading industrial 3D vision and embodied AI player has entered its substantive phase.

Under the filing, Mech-Mind plans to issue up to 27.48 million ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Separately, 32 shareholders aim to convert 89.92 million domestic unlisted shares into overseas-listed stock, enabling full circulation.

Founded in 2016 by a team of Tsinghua returnees, Mech-Mind was among the first to enter the AI-plus-3D vision space. It stands as one of the few global robotics infrastructure firms with full-stack, proprietary "Eye-Brain-Hand" capabilities. Its portfolio spans the Mech-Eye series of industrial 3D cameras, Mech-Vision machine vision software, the Mech-GPT multimodal embodied large model, and the Mech-Hand dexterous hand—creating a complete technological loop from perception and decision-making to execution.

At the recent WAIC 2026, Mech-Mind debuted a multi-robot collaboration application for industrial settings. Two humanoid robots, equipped with the "Eye-Brain-Hand" setup, autonomously coordinated to handle tasks ranging from loading and assembly to bin transport. Leveraging the embodied brain's intelligent perception and AI planning—alongside the Mech-Hand's precision—the robots identified workpieces, understood objectives, and executed path planning and actions on their own, achieving seamless coordination.

Commercially, Mech-Mind has deployed more than 27,000 sets of its "Eye-Brain-Hand" embodied intelligence products worldwide. The company serves over 100 Fortune 500 clients—including Toyota, BMW, Siemens, and SF Express—across sectors like automotive, 3C electronics, lithium battery, photovoltaics, and logistics. This broad footprint has generated a wealth of real-world data, which feeds back to optimize perception, decision-making, and operational capabilities, creating a self-reinforcing "application-data-model-capability" flywheel.

On the capital front, Mech-Mind has completed 15 funding rounds totaling more than 2 billion yuan since its inception, according to data from Qichacha. Its roster of investors features top-tier financial and strategic players, including Meituan, Sequoia China, IDG Capital, Source Code Capital, Xiong'an Fund, and Dayang Electric.

Mech-Mind's regulatory approval sends a strong signal across the embodied AI sector. Unlike humanoid robot manufacturers, Mech-Mind operates as an upstream supplier of core perception and intelligence infrastructure. Its ability to achieve scalable profitability and global expansion has already been thoroughly validated.

As leading players across the supply chain tap public markets, the embodied AI industry is shifting from hype to value realization. Hard-tech companies with proven commercial loops are poised to secure clearer valuation anchors.
