Gasgoo Munich-MINIEYE (2431.HK) has completed the bulk delivery of its Level 4 autonomous logistics vehicle, the Bamboo Robovan T5 Pro, in Jiyuan, Henan. The vehicles are now in regular operation across multiple scenarios, including fresh food cold chains, cooked food transport, and auto parts logistics. This marks the first large-scale deployment of a "true map-free" autonomous logistics vehicle in China, establishing a replicable model for city-wide operations.

The Bamboo Robovan T5 Pro completely eliminates reliance on high-definition maps, relying instead on a pure vision and multi-sensor fusion setup for real-time perception and dynamic path planning. Designed to handle long-tail urban distribution challenges—such as narrow streets and mixed traffic—the vehicle autonomously navigates roadwork and lane blockages, breaking through geographical barriers. Furthermore, deployment cycles are compressed to the hour level, significantly lowering entry barriers and overall costs.
With its intricate mix of urban and rural roads, blending residential and industrial zones, Jiyuan serves as an ideal proving ground for this map-free solution. The fleet now covers scenarios ranging from early-morning fresh food deliveries to dedicated braised food transport and auto parts replenishment. Departing warehouses at 4:00 AM, the vehicles ensure produce arrives on time; by morning, they shift to dedicated routes for cooked food stores. Local clients report that the unmanned fleet provides 24/7 service, cutting total costs by 40% to 50% while offering ease of use and stable supply rhythms.
Operational data indicates each vehicle covers an average of 120 kilometers daily, completing at least three delivery runs with an on-time rate exceeding 95%. With scaled operations, comprehensive distribution costs have dropped by nearly 50%. A manager at Shuanghui’s fresh meat stores noted that over the past six months, the vehicles have been efficient and worry-free, offering full traceability and rapid response to unexpected situations. The project has successfully served several leading enterprises, validating the map-free solution's adaptability from industrial parks to city-wide domains.
Urban distribution logistics is currently squeezed by rising labor costs and stricter delivery time requirements. With the Jiyuan project, MINIEYE has validated both its technical implementation and commercial viability. Moving forward, the company plans to continuously refine its algorithms and replicate this map-free solution in more cities, aiming to build a high-quality urban smart logistics ecosystem.
