Ministry of Education to continue cooperation with Toyota T-TEP

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai February 22) - The Ministry of Education announced that it completed signing of an agreement to extend cooperation with Toyota's Technical Education Programme (T-TEP), Beijing Business Today reported earlier today. Vice Education Minister Lu Xin, Toyota (China) Vice President Nakamura Masahiko, FAW Toyota Vice President Gao Fang and Guangqi Toyota Vice President Wang Xuanli attended the signing.

Toyota established the T-TEP in 1990 to aid European technical schools in delivering high quality education and strengthening their relationship with the company's dealers. Toyota's Chinese branch, as well as its two Chinese joint ventures, has agreed to expand the program's scope in China. The T-TEP chief aims are to cultivate talent in automobile operation and maintenance, supply certified technical schools with Toyota-made education materials, provide grants for exceptional students and supply guidance services for college graduates.
