Shanghai November 17 (Gasgoo.com) The new Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid has recently made its debut in Zhuhai, south China's Guangdong Province, and will soon be put on the market for 1.38 million yuan ($206,000), car.autohome.com reported Wednesday.

The German sports car maker also showcased its new Porsche Cayenne V6 in the city, and will sell the Cayenne S Hybrid through all its dealerships across the country.
The new Cayenne S Hybrid is equipped with a 3.0L supercharged V6 engine and a synchronous electric motor, generating 380hp, and has a top speed of 242km/h. The new car can travel up to 156km/h on full charge and accelerate from idle to 100 km/h in only 6.5 seconds. It however consumes a mere 8.2 liters per 100 kilometers and emits 193g/km of carbon dioxide, making it the cleanest vehicle in Porsche's entire portfolio.
Apart from that, the new Cayenne S Hybrid features a highly sophisticated parallel full hybrid system, which harnesses two electric motors and a flywheel to generate, store and release power.
