Market response was intense. According to official data from the Tank brand, firm orders for the new Tank 300 surpassed 15,318 units within just 12 hours. This extends the model's dominance in the rugged off-road segment.

With nearly 600,000 users to date, the new Tank 300 represents a systematic upgrade. The vehicle underwent 553 optimizations. More than half of its components were updated. The brand states it will preserve the classic boxy exterior to maintain market recognition. The model features a longer wheelbase and optimized proportions to improve cabin space and driving stability. Targeted upgrades address core pain points regarding interior craftsmanship, smart features, and the powertrain chassis.
On the powertrain front, the new model completes its all-scenario matrix with two distinct hybrid architectures. The Hi4-T version targets professional extreme off-roading, relying on a mechanical four-wheel-drive structure for reliability under high stress. The Hi4-Z variant focuses on urban commuting and light off-roading. It balances performance and efficiency via a three-engine architecture. Gasoline and diesel options remain to cater to diverse budgets and needs. Regarding intelligence, the long-wheelbase hybrid variant is equipped with LiDAR and full-scenario NOA navigation assistance. This addresses the smart feature shortcomings of the previous generation.
