Gasgoo Munich-Xiaomi announced that actual units of the next-generation SU7 began arriving at stores nationwide on March 4. By mid-March, the rollout is expected to cover 492 stores across 143 cities.

The incoming models feature a wide palette of exterior colors, including Capri Blue, Sunset Red, Liquid Gold Pink, Dawn Purple, Brilliant Magenta, Elegant Gray, Obsidian Black, and Pearl White. Xiaomi previously disclosed that the model is slated for an official launch in April 2026, with pre-orders starting from 229,900 yuan.
The next-generation SU7 features comprehensive system upgrades. On the safety front, all trims come standard with a 2,200MPa steel embedded roll cage and four-door impact beams, alongside an upgraded suite of nine airbags—adding rear side airbags. The chassis is equipped with 1,500MPa protective crossbeams and a high-strength coating, which the company claims improves scratch and tear resistance tenfold compared to the base design. Addressing user concerns over door handles, the new model introduces a triple-redundancy system across the lineup, supporting physical mechanical release from both inside and outside the vehicle.
In terms of power and range, the next-generation SU7 is powered by a V6s Plus motor, delivering 320 horsepower in the Standard version and 690 horsepower in the Max trim. The entire lineup utilizes a silicon carbide high-voltage platform: the Standard and Pro versions run on a 752V architecture, while the Max version operates at 897V. For range, the Standard version offers 720 kilometers under CLTC conditions, while the Pro version reaches 902 kilometers. On the intelligent driving front, all models come standard with LiDAR and 4D millimeter-wave radar.
With physical units now hitting showrooms, Xiaomi EV’s next-generation offering is facing its first real market test.
