NIO Delivered 40,597 New Vehicles in June, Up 62.9% Year-on-Year

Gasgoo Munich-NIO delivered 40,597 vehicles in June 2026, marking a high for the year and a 62.9% increase from a year earlier. First-half deliveries climbed to 191,123 — a 67.4% surge — as all three brands set records for the period. The company’s cumulative deliveries now stand at 1,188,715.

By brand, NIO delivered 21,908 units in June, up 50.1%, with a first-half total of 119,488, gaining 60.5%, to maintain its lead in the premium EV sector. Onvo followed with 11,743 June deliveries, an 83.5% jump, bringing its six-month volume to 42,463, up 33.3%, as market penetration deepens. Firefly delivered 6,946 units in June, rising 76.7%, while its first-half tally soared 271.9% to 29,172, signaling robust growth momentum.

June brought delivery milestones for several models. The NIO ES9 hit the 10,000-unit mark just 30 days after deliveries began on May 28. The NIO ES8 marked its eighth anniversary since launch, with the third-generation model reaching 120,000 cumulative deliveries in 275 days. It has topped the large SUV and 400,000-yuan segments for six straight months. Additionally, the five-seat ES8 has opened for pre-orders with showroom arrivals underway; it officially launches on July 9, poised to expand the premium five-seat EV SUV market.

Onvo also stood out. The Onvo L60 reached its 100,000th delivery, remaining firmly in the top three of the 200,000-yuan mid-size EV SUV segment since its September 28, 2024 debut. The new L60 launched on June 11, fully equipped with NIO's flagship smart technology. Meanwhile, the Onvo L90 — a reimagined three-row SUV — has seen cumulative deliveries approach 60,000 units, drawing positive market feedback.

A dense product rollout injected fresh momentum. In June, the 2026 ET5, ET5T, and EC6 Champion Editions launched. The ET5 and ET5T Champion Editions start at 313,000 yuan, or 205,000 yuan under the BaaS scheme, while the EC6 Champion Edition starts at 373,000 yuan, or 265,000 yuan with BaaS. Firefly released its first metal-roof "Pixel Player" special edition, limited to 333 units at 135,800 yuan (95,800 yuan with BaaS). It sold out in eight hours, highlighting intense market demand.

Overall, synergies across NIO's three-brand strategy are emerging. With a richer product matrix and simultaneous progress in premiumization and scaling, the company has laid a solid foundation for further sales breakthroughs in the second half.
