SEOUL, Jan 25 Asia Pulse - Nissan Motor Co. (TSE:7201), Japan's third-largest automaker, said Thursday it began selling its luxury sport-utility vehicle in South Korea, in a bid to grab a bigger slice of the nation's fast-growing market for imported vehicles.
The Japanese carmaker is selling the Infiniti EX35 SUVs through its dealer networks here with a price tag of 54.7 million won (US$57,700), excluding taxes, Nissan's Korean unit said in a statement.
It didn't provide a sales target.
Last year, the South Korean market for imported vehicles expanded 31.7 per cent from a year earlier to 53,390 units.
