Gasgoo.com (Shanghai October 29) - Jaguar Land Rover's sales network in China has been expanded to include 130 dealerships, Beijing News reported today, citing a statement made by JLR President Bob Grace. Mr. Grace, who made the statement at a press conference in Paris, added that China is currently Jaguar Land Rover's third largest market, as well as its most rapidly developing one.
Over 100,000 Jaguar and Land Rover vehicles have been sold in China over the last two years, Mr. Grace (pictured) stated. In order to deal with high levels of demand, the manufacturer has already certified 130 dealerships across the country, 95 of which are already in business. He added that the manufacturer has a staff of over 220 employees in the country, over 85 percent of which are Chinese.
Mr. Grace also touched upon Jaguar Land Rover's plans to establish a branch office and training center in Guangdong's provincial capital of Guangzhou. The manufacturer also plans to construct seven Land Rover experience centers and five auto part supply and logistical centers in the near future.
