On February 25, Li Auto officially revealed the official images of its first all-electric SUV, the i8. In the following days, the company released additional photos of the vehicle's front and rear, as well as a side-by-side comparison with the Tesla Model X.
Positioned as a large, six-seat, all-electric SUV, the i8 is built on an 800V high-voltage platform with a CLTC range of up to 710 kilometers. Additionally, the i8 supports 5C ultra-fast charging technology, allowing it to gain 500 kilometers of range in just 12 minutes of charging.
According to Li Auto's product strategy, the company plans to launch four extended-range electric vehicle and four fully electric vehicle models by 2025. This will complete a product lineup that includes the i6, i7, i8, and i9.
