Gasgoo.com (Shanghai January 21) - Chinese new energy vehicle sales totaled 12,791 units last year, Beijing News reported today, citing statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers. 12,552 new energy vehicle vehicles were manufactured over the course of the year. The sales and production figures represent year-on-year growth of 103.9 percent and 98.8 percent, respectively.
According to CAAM statistics, production and sales amounts for pure electric vehicles last year totaled 11,241 units and 11,375 units, respectively. Production and sales volumes for plug-in hybrid vehicles totaled 1,311 units and 1,416 units.
