Warsaw Business Journal - The Polish branch of Peugeot will deliver 117 cars for the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, Rzeczpospolita reports.
The agreement, which the company signed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in December of last year, includes the lease of 52 new 508 model cars as well as three iOn all-electric vehicles.
The company hopes that EU officials driving the cars will provide much better brand promotion than a regular billboard or TV advertisement.
Peugeout spokespeople told Rzeczpospolita that the company is aiming to develop the prestige of its brand.
