President of Hawtai preparing to resign

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai April 11) - Liu Zhigang, president of Hawtai Automobile, is preparing to leave the Shandong-based manufacturer, the Beijing Times reported today. The news comes in the wake of a flurry of high level resignations at Hawtai.

Mr. Liu (pictured) had originally been brought over from fellow Chinese manufacturer Brilliance Auto to head Hawtai. He will be joining fellow former Brilliance employees Huang Xiaodong and Xu Chao, president and vice president of Hawtai's sales branch respectively.
