South Korea's automobile production saw a 41.7 percent jump in automobile production from a year ago as the back-on-track economy pulled up auto demand, industry data showed Thursday.
According to data released by the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association, total outputs of cars, trucks and buses amounted to 381,904 units last month, up from 269,263 units tallied for the same period last year.
During the first four months of 2010, the nation's auto production marked a 41.8 percent on-year rise to 1.35 million units, the data showed.
