On Jan. 1, SAIC-GM reported December retail sales of 53,454 units, with NEV sales at 11,307 units — both the highest monthly readings of the year. Full-year 2025 retail sales came to 562,185 units (including exports), and the company has remained profitable for five consecutive quarters.

In NEVs, the Buick brand launched a high-end sub-brand, "Zhijing," debuting the Zhijing Shijia and Zhijing L7. Full-year NEV sales reached 88,833 units, placing its NEV volume and penetration rate first among joint-venture brands.
On the technology side, SAIC-GM unveiled the new "Xiaoyao" super-integrated architecture, which brings together core technologies across the body, E/E, chassis, driver assistance, e-drive systems and the smart cockpit. Built on this architecture, the Ultium 2.0 multi-drive platform spans pure electric, plug-in hybrid and range-extended powertrains; official data show its battery system has logged 2.6 billion km with zero thermal-runaway incidents.
In hybrid powertrains, both the "Zhenlong" range-extended system and the "Zhenlong" PHEV Pro system were selected for the 2025 "China Heart" Top 10 Powertrains.
For intelligent driving, the city NOA system, powered by Momenta's R6 reinforcement-learning large model, enables seamless navigation-assisted driving and offers a "no-stop, one-tap park-in" auto-parking function. The smart cockpit uses Qualcomm's SA8775P chip and supports continuous OTA updates.
The chassis introduces preview-style "magic carpet" technology: LiDAR scans the road, and together with a front double-wishbone and rear five-link suspension, delivers millisecond-level active air-suspension adjustment.
