Gasgoo Munich-SAIC MG took the wraps off two new models on the evening of March 10 — the MG 4X and MG 07 — releasing official images alongside the announcement.
The MG 4X marks the first pure electric SUV in the MG4 family, debuting a 510 km semi-solid-state battery. With a CLTC range hitting 510 km, the company boasts that the technology comes standard even on the entry-level version.

So far, officials have released exterior shots and some configuration details, but information regarding interior design and pricing remains under wraps.
Official posters reveal the new model carries over the MG4 family design language, featuring the brand's signature glowing logo and a new full-width light bar to boost recognizability. The side profile retains traditional mechanical door handles, while the exterior mirrors, side skirts, and wheel arches are blacked out. Paired with chrome window trim, the design balances a sporty atmosphere with a touch of refinement. Additionally, the vehicle comes with a roof rack and a panoramic sunroof, enhancing both cargo capacity and the sense of openness inside the cabin.
Unlike the MG 4X, the MG 07 is positioned as a new energy coupe built on an all-new platform. Official images highlight its commanding stance and sporty style, featuring a dynamic fastback silhouette. The front end sports a large, one-piece clamshell hood, utilizing a hemming process for the first time to achieve a seamless design look. Notably, the roof is equipped with a LiDAR sensor, signaling advanced intelligent driving assistance capabilities.

Along the side, the MG 07 features a metal air duct structure. To overcome technical challenges in stamping and connecting metal components, the manufacturer split the single component into five separate parts for production.
At the rear, the model adopts a "ducktail" design. By achieving small-area surfacing and angled stamping on a high-strength steel hatchback, the design further accentuates its sporty visual appeal.
