Gasgoo Munich- On March 16, 2026, Gasgoo learned from D-Robotics that the company has recently completed a $120 million Series B1 funding round. Following a $100 million Series A round in 2025, the total raised across Series A and B rounds has reached $220 million.
The round boasts a high-profile lineup of industrial giants, strategic investors, and top-tier institutions. Leading industrial players including DiDi and Meituan Longzhu entered the fray; strategic investors such as Borui Capital, Joyoung Family Office, and BAIC Capital added their weight; while top-tier financial firms like Jinqiu Fund and Chuxin Capital co-invested. Meanwhile, existing shareholders—including GL Ventures, Vertex Growth (a Temasek affiliate), 5Y Capital, and Linear Capital—all oversubscribed their follow-on investments.

The capital will be fully deployed for full-stack software and hardware R&D and product iteration. The objective is clear: to solidify a native embodied intelligence foundation that integrates software-hardware synergy and edge-cloud computing, using systematic infrastructure to drive the industry toward scale and accessibility.
Billing itself as the "industry's greatest common denominator" covering all robot categories, D-Robotics is taking a pragmatic approach. With a complete product lineup spanning 5 to 560 TOPS computing power, it horizontally addresses edge-side computing needs across humanoid robots, quadrupedal robot dogs, service and companion robots, and logistics AMRs. Vertically, it connects the entire chain from R&D to mass production.
In the past year, D-Robotics has partnered with top clients to launch a string of hits: it helped Narwal's Xianyao 002 usher in the era of AI binocular perception for robot vacuums; teamed up with Insta360 to build the world's first panoramic drone, the Antigravity A1; and assisted Vita Power in releasing an intelligent companion robot dog, redefining the family smart partner.
Horizon Robotics, a key strategic partner, is leveraging its BPU intelligent computing architecture and Foundation Model capabilities to jointly accelerate the evolution of robot intelligence. Currently, this physical AI base has already taken root in automotive scenarios and is now migrating toward embodied intelligence.
Following autonomous driving, robotics is becoming the next trillion-dollar blue ocean for Horizon Robotics. Sharing the same technological and strategic DNA, D-Robotics is working alongside it to drive the intelligentization of the robotics industry.
About "Seeds Discovery":
Gasgoo's "Seeds Discovery" column aims to build a service platform connecting startups, industrial chain ecosystem partners, investment institutions, and local governments to deeply empower the upstream and downstream of the industry. Since its launch, the column has been dedicated to discovering great companies, technologies, and business models that offer significant inspiration and leadership during the wave of intelligent transformation, thereby fostering the growth of industrial innovation. According to Gasgoo statistics, almost all startups covered by "Seeds Discovery" have successfully connected with industrial chain ecosystem resources.
