Gasgoo Munich- DaxAI Robot recently announced the completion of a new funding round led by GSR Ventures and Seas Capital.
With the fresh capital, DaxAI Robot will accelerate R&D on its embodied world model and "hand-brain integrated" platform. The company plans to expand and upgrade its existing production line—currently capable of 1,000 units per year—to target a capacity of 10,000 units.

Established in May 2025, DaxAI Robot was founded by Wang Kun, who brings 12 years of experience in robotics and intelligent driving, including time as an early member of JD.com's autonomous vehicle team. Co-founder and CTO Xu Wenqiang, a graduate of the University of Science and Technology of China's Special Class for the Gifted Young, holds an honorary PhD in AI from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He also completed postdoctoral research at the National University of Singapore and was named to the 2025 Forbes China 30 Under 30 list.
From the outset, DaxAI Robot has focused on developing production-oriented embodied intelligent robots and deploying them in real-world scenarios, targeting high-value sectors such as general retail, logistics, and elderly care.
To achieve this, the company has adopted a dual-engine strategy combining an embodied world model with a universal hardware platform. Built on the proprietary DaxBrain-WM model, DaxAI prioritizes on-device inference, extreme cost-efficiency, and rapid return on investment. Its goal is to create scalable robots that can deeply replace repetitive human labor.
DaxBrain, the embodied intelligence hub designed natively for the physical world, features a three-layer architecture:
Perception Layer: Millisecond-level fusion of vision, touch, force, and proprioception to construct real-time 3D environmental awareness;
Cognitive Layer: An embodied world model engine that predicts object motion and simulates operational outcomes based on physical laws, enabling simulation-before-action;
Action Layer: An end-to-end motion planning network that converts cognition directly into dexterous manipulation with latency under 50ms.
Leveraging its self-developed DaxBrain-WM model, DaxAI Robot has launched two flagship products: a dual-arm dexterous wheeled humanoid robot and a ton-class heavy-load robotic horse. Notably, the humanoid robot starts at just 69,800 yuan.
Currently, DaxAI Robot has established deep partnerships with leading global retailers, logistics firms, pharmaceutical companies, and industrial players. Its products are being deployed at scale in retail and logistics settings, driving rapid growth with orders reaching several thousand units.
