Gasgoo Munich - Beijing Today Yixiu Technology, a smart health technology firm, has closed a seed round totaling tens of millions of yuan, according to a report by Gasgoo Seeds. GL Ventures led the financing, with participation from AgiBot, Sleemon, and Sky9 Capital. The capital will primarily drive R&D, push products toward mass production, and fund plans for international expansion.
The company plans to unveil its first products in the second half of this year, marking the start of its push into global markets.

Wang Teng, the driving force behind Beijing Today Yixiu Technology, was a standout young executive at Xiaomi before branching out on his own. Before turning 40, he had served as general manager for both the Redmi brand and Xiaomi's China marketing division—a rare "dual general manager" role within the company. Wang played a central role in defining and driving the success of iconic devices like the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, Xiaomi Mi 8, and Redmi Note 7, amassing deep expertise in product development and market operations.
For this venture, Wang is pivoting from consumer electronics into health tech, specifically targeting the sleep and energy management sector.
Unlike the single-function sleep aids or monitors that flood the market, Beijing Today Yixiu Technology is pushing a more foundational, long-term philosophy: energy asset management. This concept serves as the guiding principle for their product matrix. The goal is to treat human energy as a vital life asset that can be scientifically managed and optimized, using technology to create a closed loop that ranges from sensing and regulation to long-term maintenance.
Specifically, Beijing Today Yixiu Technology's products will leverage multi-sensor fusion and large model analysis to actively—but unobtrusively—monitor sleep and energy levels. The system will sync with bedroom elements like lighting, temperature, sound, and mattress support to make automated, personalized adjustments. This transforms the bedroom from a passive sleep space into an intelligent health environment that actively adapts to the user.
On the talent front, Beijing Today Yixiu Technology has recruited R&D and product specialists from tech giants like Xiaomi and Huawei, assembling a cross-disciplinary team that blends consumer electronics hardware experience with expertise in health algorithms.
