Seeds | LimX Dynamics closes Series B financing with $200 million secured

Edited by Gasgoo From Gasgoo

Gasgoo Munich- On February 2, LimX Dynamics announced the completion of a $200 million Series B financing round, marking another major capital transaction in the embodied intelligence sector since the start of 2026.

The round attracted a diverse mix of capital arms, including Oriental Fortune Capital and Cornerstone Capital. Strategic industrial partners such as JD.com and Zhongding Group also joined in, while existing shareholders like SAIC Shangqi Capital and NIO Capital increased their stakes.

LimX Dynamics noted that the funds will primarily be used to ramp up R&D and market investment, driving innovation in its general-purpose humanoid robots and modular base platforms while expanding globally.

LimX Dynamics' core strength lies in its full-stack capability, spanning hardware bodies to intelligent systems. Specifically, this rests on three pillars: hardware design and manufacturing, "large and small brain fusion" technology, and an embodied Agentic OS. This technological route gives robots not only agile bodies but also the "brain" capable of autonomous decision-making and executing complex tasks.

Previously, the company had released several products, including the bipedal TRON 1 and the full-size general humanoid LimX Oli. Recently, however, LimX Dynamics achieved another significant breakthrough in the field of embodied intelligence.

First, it released the multi-morphology TRON 2. Featuring a unique modular design, this robot serves as a universal base that can be flexibly configured into bipedal or wheeled-bipedal forms. This allows developers to quickly adapt to different scenarios without repeatedly developing hardware for single tasks.

Second, it launched the self-developed LimX COSA, an embodied agent operating system. Designed to act as the robot's "thinking hub," the system deeply integrates high-level cognition with whole-body motion control. This drives robots to understand tasks, perceive environments, and plan actions autonomously—enabling them to "think while working" to handle real-world uncertainty and complex tasks.

Through a product strategy combining a "universal base" with an "intelligent OS," LimX Dynamics is attempting to solve the flexibility and generality challenges of bringing embodied intelligence to market. The success of this large-scale financing not only injects strong momentum into its continued technical innovation but also reflects the capital market's recognition of its focus on product engineering and full-stack technology.
