Seeds | Link-touch secures funding worth hundreds of millions of yuan

Edited by Yara From Gasgoo

Gasgoo Munich- Link-touch, a leading Chinese maker of six-axis force sensors for robotics, has closed a D-round funding worth several hundred million yuan, according to Gasgoo Embodied Intelligence.

GAC Capital, the investment arm of GAC Group, led the round, with participation from Deye Tech and Xichen Capital. The capital will fuel R&D for next-generation force sensors, expand production capacity, and support a global market push.

The company's investor base now spans the entire supply chain: from battery giant CATL and automakers GAC and SAIC, to robotics leaders AGIBOT and Galbot, chip foundry SMIC, and energy storage player Deye Tech.

Notably, both AGIBOT and Galbot were key clients before becoming investors.

Founded in 2019, Link-touch draws its core team from elite institutions like the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beihang University, and Northwestern Polytechnical University. The company specializes in adapting high-precision force control technology—honed in aerospace—for robotic applications.

Its portfolio now covers a full range of products, including six-axis force sensors for humanoid robots, general-purpose six-axis sensors, joint torque sensors, and tension-compression sensors.

The company's proprietary six-axis force and joint torque sensors boast 0.1% FS accuracy, high-frequency response exceeding 10 kHz, and 500% overload capacity. Crucially, extreme miniaturization has slashed sensor volume by 90% and weight by 80%.

Beyond AGIBOT and Galbot, top humanoid manufacturers like Xiaomi Robotics, UBTECH, ENGINEAI Robotics, and Galaxea AI are equipping their machines with Link-touch's force-sensing products in bulk.

As production scales up, Link-touch has launched China's first fully automated production line for robotic force sensors in Guangdong. Designed to produce 1 million joint torque sensors and 200,000 end-effector six-axis force sensors annually, the facility has cut delivery times to 2–3 weeks—down from the 6–8 weeks typical of overseas brands. That speed is critical for supporting the mass deployment of humanoid robots at the 100,000-unit scale.
