Gasgoo Munich- HiDream.ai, a large model technology innovator, recently closed a 1.5 billion yuan Series C financing round. The round was jointly led by the Sichuan Revitalization Sci-Tech Innovation Fund, ICBC Capital, Hongyi Asset Management, and Dunhong Capital. Participants included Xiamen ITG Capital, the Shanghai Film New Vision Fund, Hubei Changjiang Industrial Investment Group, and Huace Media, while existing shareholders like Hefei Industrial Investment and Oriental Fortune Capital increased their stakes.
That brings HiDream.ai's total fundraising to more than 2.1 billion yuan across three intensive rounds over the past three months.
Among the earliest Chinese players to stake a claim in multimodal generative AI, HiDream.ai has built its foundation on the self-developed HiDream series of large models. From that base, it has cultivated a diverse product matrix and expanded into a global commercial network—creating a closed-loop ecosystem where technology, product, and business drive one another.
Specifically, anchored by the HiDream-O1 series model, the company has rolled out a "1+1+3" strategic framework. This involves building a Token Hub platform to standardize model capabilities, then layering AIGC product innovations across three core scenarios: commercial marketing, film production, and content creation.

At the recent 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC), HiDream.ai unveiled vivago R1—the world's first multimodal creative agent capable of generating and editing videos of infinite duration. The "R" signifies the agent's distinctive long-haul reasoning power, marking a paradigm shift in AI-driven creativity: evolving from a tool that assists in generating single assets to an autonomous "smart partner" capable of planning, scheduling, and executing complex creative workflows.
