Gasgoo Munich- Shenzhen Tianyuanxing Technology Co., Ltd., a general industrial embodied intelligence platform, has closed an angel round worth tens of millions of yuan. Backed by investors including Hongde Investment, Shengshi Hongyuan, and Haiyuan Capital, the startup plans to channel the capital into developing end-to-end embodied intelligence control technology, expanding its R&D team, and scaling up deployment across industrial settings.
Established in December 2024, Tianyuanxing emerged from the core team of SenseTime's industrial robot division and remains part of the AI giant's "X" ecosystem. The company targets sectors such as lithium batteries, photovoltaics, rail transit, and semiconductors, offering integrated intelligent solutions that span the entire chain from perception and cognition to operation.
On the product front, Tianyuanxing has introduced the TX01, a dual-arm humanoid robot built on a wheeled chassis. Featuring a design that combines bamboo-joint electric cylinders with a mobile base, the TX01 boasts a centered gravity point for enhanced stability. It offers 4 to 8 hours of battery life and a maximum payload of 100kg, making it suitable for high-intensity industrial tasks. Unlike traditional industrial robots that control the arm, dexterous hand, and chassis separately, Tianyuanxing employs an integrated whole-machine control system—a setup the company claims boosts collaborative efficiency while cutting hardware costs.
Technologically, Tianyuanxing has bypassed the traditional serial architecture of "sensor perception-calibration-control" in favor of a proprietary end-to-end closed-loop system. The firm has established a full-stack "data-model-hardware" framework, encompassing an embodied intelligence data platform, an intelligent algorithm core built on a three-layer VLN/VLA/VFA architecture, and a unified hardware platform. Founder Kuang Zhanghui explains that this approach addresses persistent industry pain points: the need for custom algorithms, lengthy on-site debugging cycles, and the difficulty of adapting to different production line configurations.
On the leadership front, founder and CEO Kuang Zhanghui holds a Ph.D. in artificial intelligence from the University of Hong Kong. His background includes stints at Microsoft Research Asia and Huawei's Noah's Ark Lab. He joined SenseTime in 2015 and, prior to his departure, served as head of the company's industrial robot business unit.
Commercially, Tianyuanxing has already forged partnerships with CATL, China Railway, and Cixing Group. Its core products have completed proof-of-concept (POC) verification for flexible handling and intelligent assembly in lithium battery and photovoltaic enterprises. The TX01 completed two iterations of its prototype in 2025; mass production is slated for 2026, alongside on-site testing at leading new energy clients. Looking ahead to 2027, the company aims to roll out a complete product matrix supporting over 50 tool-use models, driving large-scale deployment across general industrial scenarios.
