Founded in November 2022, Yue Quan Bionics is a high-tech enterprise dedicated to the R&D and industrialization of bionic robotics. The company was established by Ren Luquan, an academician at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Lei Ren, a tenured professor at the University of Manchester. Its core team forms a composite talent structure blending "top academicians, international professors, and seasoned industry executives," with researchers born in the 1990s and 2000s accounting for 51% of the staff.
Technologically, Yue Quan Bionics relies on the "bionic tension-compression body robot theory and technology" pioneered by Professor Lei Ren to translate research into products. By mimicking the collaborative logic of human bones, muscles, and ligaments, this technology disrupts traditional rigid hinge designs at the theoretical level. The company has achieved full-stack proprietary development, spanning self-developed hollow-cup motors, artificial muscle modules, and bionic dexterous hands to complete humanoid robots. Proceeds from this round will go toward team building, core technology R&D, and capacity expansion, aiming to advance ultra-bionic neuro-skeletal-muscular robotics and build an embodied intelligence system integrating "brain, body, and environment."
On the product front, Yue Quan Bionics has established two core lines: bionic dexterous hands and humanoid robots. The dexterous hand series includes the "Y-Hand" line (featuring models like the Y-Hand M1/M2) and the "X-Hand" line.
The Y-Hand M2 boasts 38 degrees of freedom (DOF), making it the bionic dexterous hand with the highest DOF globally; the Y-Hand M1 weighs just 299.7 grams, integrates 26 DOF, and delivers a five-finger gripping force of 200N. The humanoid robot lineup includes the full-size bipedal "X-Bot" (with 51 DOF across the body) and the wheeled "W-Bot."
Commercially, Yue Quan Bionics has secured over 100 million yuan in orders, with products widely applied in smart manufacturing, inspection and O&M, warehousing and logistics, healthcare, elderly care, and special operations. With this injection of hundreds of millions in capital, the hard-tech firm — driven by proprietary bionic technology — is accelerating its transition from technical verification to large-scale commercial deployment.
