Gasgoo Munich- On April 7, SAIC-GM-Wuling ("SGMW") officially opened blind pre-orders for its all-new six-seat flagship SUV, the Huajing S. The model marks the first product born from a deepened partnership between Wuling and Huawei, and is built on the Tianyu Architecture L platform. It adopts a plug-in hybrid powertrain, positioning it squarely in China's fast-growing electrified large SUV segment.

Visually, the Huajing S adopts a distinctive lighting signature, featuring a full-width "star ring" LED light bar paired with a closed-off front grille—a design language increasingly associated with electrified models. Chrome-accented L-shaped air channels on both sides of the front bumper add a mix of refinement and sportiness.
Across the lineup, the SUV is equipped with Huawei's Qiankun driver assistance solution, the HarmonySpace smart cockpit, and the HUAWEI IVCS vehicle-cloud system. It also integrates Huawei's in-cabin laser vision technology (Limera), highlighting a strong emphasis on advanced sensing and intelligent interaction.
From the side, the Huajing S presents a clean and imposing profile, with subtle chrome detailing around the window line enhancing its premium appeal. At the rear, a full-width taillight cluster mirrors the front-end design, creating visual continuity.
The SUV measures 5,235 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,800 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,105 mm—firmly placing it in the full-size category.

Inside, the cabin follows a wraparound cockpit design, combining clean horizontal lines with a fully digital instrument cluster and a floating central display. A dual-tone multifunction steering wheel reinforces the upscale look.
Rear-seat comfort is a clear priority: passengers benefit from fold-out tray tables on both sides and a roof-mounted entertainment screen, features typically associated with higher-end executive vehicles.
Powering the Huajing S is Wuling's Lingxi Power 3.0 system, pairing a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with an electric motor. The combined output reaches 386 kW and 620 N·m of torque.
Depending on configuration, the SUV is offered with battery packs rated at 31 kWh or 41.9 kWh, delivering CLTC battery-powered ranges of 130 km, 160 km, and up to 175 km.
As the first flagship model to emerge from Wuling's deepened collaboration with Huawei, the Huajing S represents a key attempt by the brand to move upmarket. It is expected to compete directly with models such as the DEEPAL S09 and Geely Galaxy M9.
