It decides to recall part of year 2006 to 2012 Excelle made from 12 Jan 2006 to 2 Dec 2011 from 30 Dec 2013. It concerns with 1.22 million cars. Besides, Shanghai GM recalls year 2010 to 2012 Chevrolet new Sail made from 9 March 2009 to 8 Oct 2011. It concerns with 243.3 thousand cars.

As it known, the reason for Shanghai GM recalling is because suppliers fuel pump bracket manufacture problem. The manufacture craft may cause crack after long time using on fuel pump. In certain situation may cause fuel leak, which has safety risk. SAIC GM will recall all concerned cars to change improved fuel pump bracket for free to eliminate the risk.

It recalls deficient automobile 3.76 million, which has increased 17.37% over the figure of last year.

Among all recalled deficient automobiles, it has 1.96 million are forced to recall by AQSIQ with inspection, which takes 52.17%. It concerns with 1 tier recall, 471.8 thousand products recall.
