As it known, the reason for Shanghai GM recalling is because suppliers fuel pump bracket manufacture problem. The manufacture craft may cause crack after long time using on fuel pump. In certain situation may cause fuel leak, which has safety risk. SAIC GM will recall all concerned cars to change improved fuel pump bracket for free to eliminate the risk.

Shanghai GM recalls is just one case of all recall recorded with AQSIQ. As repetitive of AQSIQ staff told media at media conference recently, up to 26 Dec, China has recalled activities 130 times in 2013. It recalls deficient automobile 3.76 million, which has increased 17.37% over the figure of last year.
Among all recalled deficient automobiles, it has 1.96 million are forced to recall by AQSIQ with inspection, which takes 52.17%. It concerns with 1 tier recall, 471.8 thousand products recall. China owned brand recall 58 times, and concerns with 3.28 million. Imported automobiles have 72 times, and concerns with 482 thousand.
